Jillian played the role of Marya at The Eternity Playhouse in electro pop opera Natasha & Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 for Darlinghurst Theatre Co. in Sydney 2023 - awarded 4 stars in time out. She received excellent reviews. Jilly performed the role and drummed the score when not on stage. 'Darlo' hopes to tour COMET in 2025.
Jilly has formed an alliance WithinBeyond with artist Greer Taylor - 'to invite curiosity, reconnecting humanity to nature and the heart of ourselves'. They have been awarded the CASP CREATE NSW grant to develop the storyboard for their short film coevolution written/designed by Greer Taylor, conceptualised/directed by Jilly with cinematographer Harry Kielly. The storyboard is being presented end of March 2023.
WithinBeyond presented it's debut multi media immersion 'happening' - veiling; grief and delight November 19 2022, which launched Greer Taylor's poetry book of that title, featuring their short film for a long time. It had a live cast on stage, sound, film, photography, original music and movement. It celebrated a full house and was well received with books sold out on the night. Jilly voiced the character of Mother Earth at this event.
Jilly played lead role Dorothy in The Griffin Theatre Co. 2022 hit black comedy play by Melissa Bubnic Ghosting The Party. She features in on line platforms for Australian Theatre Live's recording of this production in 2023. The production directed by Andrea James received 4.5 stars from The Sydney Morning Herald.
Jillian is also the comic kiwi character Teresa in a new web series for Arena Media shot in June 2021, directed by Ainslie Clouston, starring/written by Helen Dallimore and Simon Burke, due for release 2023.
Jilly plays Constable Janine on Victoria MacIntyre's feature Film 'The Flood' released in cinemas 2020 and streams on 'Stan'.
Jilly played the 'voice of reason' for main character Ruby Tuesday and created the live vocal soundscape to a new Australian play Safety Nets written by Sarah Butler, supported by Shark Island and The ARTSLAB Kangaroo Valley. It performed February 2022 at The ARTSLAB and March 7-12 at The Adelaide Fringe Fest in the historic Bakehouse Theatre. The show is is co-produced/directed by Sarah and Jilly. It received 5 stars from The Adelaide Advertiser.
Jillian’s numerous TV credits include Rake, Cold Feet, All Saints, Home and Away, Water Rats, Small Claims and Come in Spinner plus several commercials in Australia and the UK, including starring as the comic lead in her RAA Storm on line and Australian networks, spots for the UK’s Channel 4 3D, BBC Radio 2 and Hurricane Media UK. Jilly plays the lead Mum in IKEA's spring commercial. Film credits include, The Flood, The Three Stooges, Walking on Water, Dead Letter Office and the UK indie Diana Clone. Jillian is the voice of the Narrator, Bluebird , Big Brown Bear and Mother Deer for SLR Productions' award winning animation series two Guess How Much I Love You, playing on ABC Kids TV /ABC IView and international networks. She features on their Easter and Christmas Specials also. Jilly's with Trackdown Digital at Fox in Sydney on the animation Nate is Late which is on air on Channel 9, France One and German networks. She voices Violet, Melanie, Nate's Mum and a warrior mermaid called Hydra to name a few of her 12 characters.
