WithinBeyond alliance- Jillian O'Dowd and Greer Taylor - produced veiling ; grief and delight - a multi media immersion launching the poetry of celebrated artist Greer Taylor. It was well received, a full house at The Cambewarra School of Arts and Greer's books were sold out on the night. We have a digital recording of this 'happening' to launch on line in 2023. Filmed and edited by cinematographer Harry Kielly.
WithinBeyond invites curiosity, reconnecting humanity with nature and the heart of ourselves. They were awarded a CASP grant from CREATE NSW to develop the storyboard for their new film coevolution. This development is presented end of March 2023. It is based on Greer's poem 'coevolution- a chronical of decay and infinity'. Coevolution cinematographer is Harry Kielly. Jillian is Director and Voice Artist.
Chocolate Dog Duo Baxter Stone and Jillian O'Dowd produced their new music clip Back Into The Zone. Shot by filmaker Harry Kielly. It's release on you tube is due early 2023.
2020 saw the ARSLAB production of 'The Turn Of The Screw'. Jilly Co-Produced/Directed with Sarah Butler and performed the roles of The Narrator, Mrs Grose, Miles and his Uncle. It was very well received.
In 2019 Jilly creatively developed, at The ARTSLAB ,with the support of Shark Island Institute a play written by Sarah Butler entitled Safety Nets. Jilly co-produced and played the lead role of Ruby in the blocked read performance at The Playshed at Shark Kangaroo Valley. It had a sold out successful season at ARTSLAB February 2022 and a received 5 star review from The Adelaide Advertiser during 2022 Fringe Festival.
Their previous ARTSLAB shows have been a sell out success, 'Tempting Morsels' 2015. 'Songs About Girls and Their Fingertips' 2016. 'The Way of All Fish' 2017.
